The NI Academic Conclave – Bengaluru Chapter is a focused academic–industry engagement designed to bring together faculty, academic leaders, and researchers to explore industry-grade tools and technologies that enhance teaching and accelerate research in Intelligent Test Systems, Advanced Wireless Communication, and Electric Vehicle (EV) domains.

Aligned with the theme “Driving Future Research: Intelligent Test Systems, Advanced Wireless Communication & Electric Vehicle Research,” the conclave emphasizes modernizing teaching methodologies, laboratory infrastructure, and research practices using NI platforms. It will also guide faculty and researchers on leveraging government research schemes and funding opportunities to accelerate applied research and innovation within their institutions.

Through live demonstrations, hands-on technical sessions, and collaborative discussions, participants will discover how NI software and hardware platforms can enhance teaching and research effectiveness, enable cutting-edge innovation, and equip students and researchers with industry-ready skills. The conclave will also feature insights and research perspectives from the Advanced Assembly Technology Labs (AATL), Department of Aerospace Engineering, Indian Institute of Science, highlighting advancements in aerospace systems, manufacturing technologies, and interdisciplinary research initiatives.

Organized by National Instruments (NI) in collaboration with VVDN Technologies and the Advanced Assembly Technology Labs (AATL), Department of Aerospace Engineering, Indian Institute of Science, the conclave aims to strengthen the academic–industry ecosystem and foster long-term institutional partnerships.

Event Objectives:

  • Showcase NI platforms, including LabVIEW, DAQ systems and SDR through live demonstrations.
  • Bridge the gap between academia and industry by introducing practical tools and real-world engineering workflows.
  • Promote advanced research in Intelligent Test Systems, 5G/6G Wireless Communication, Autonomous Aerial and Ground Vehicles and EV technologies using industry-grade platforms.
  • Enable faculty and researchers to design, develop, and deploy next-generation systems using NI- based hardware and software ecosystems.
  • Demonstrate NI solutions for Advanced Wireless Communication Systems, Real-Time Data Acquisition System, Unmanned Aerial and Ground Vehicle research and EV Research.
  • Modernize teaching methodologies and laboratory infrastructure in line with emerging technologies and industry requirements.
  • Build a sustainable NI Academic Ecosystem across institutions.
  • Guide institutions on funding opportunities (e.g., government schemes, R&D grants) to support applied research and innovation.
