Topic to be covered in this training are as follows;

Introduction to LabVIEW

Data Acquisition and Logging with FlexLogger Software

The LabVIEW programming environment simplifies hardware integration for engineering applications so that you have a consistent way to acquire data from NI and Non-NI hardware. Data Acquisition Using LabVIEW and NI-DAQmx helps you in exploring the basics of data acquisition using sensors, NI data acquisition hardware, and LabVIEW. Data acquisition using LabVIEW involves writing software on top of appropriate hardware to acquire data from various sensors (e.g., temperature, pressure, current, …). Those data are then usually manipulated and/or filtered before being displayed and/or recorded for further analysis. FlexLogger is application software that helps you build flexible, scalable data-logging systems with NI data acquisition hardware, no programming required.

Data Acquisition Using LabVIEW teaches you how to develop integrated high-performance data acquisition (DAQ) systems that produce accurate measurements. In this training, you will learn;

Fundamentals of LabVIEW,

Fundamentals of hardware selection

The basis of sensor connectivity, and

How to use the NI driver to perform data acquisition tasks.

Fundamentals of FlexLogger Software to acquire and log Data.

After completing this course, the audience will be able to acquire data from sensors using DAQ hardware and FlexLogger software.
